All the animated graphics and screensavers at this site were created by me, Christopher J. Whyte and are for sure virus free. Jesus Christ is My Lord and I would never do that to anyone-PERIOD. Now the Java applets were not made by me but I have opened and ran everyone used on this site and as far as know there are no viruses in them also. You can always go to Fabio Ciucci's web site and check with him but I can't imagine him doing such a thing either.
This site makes chat rooms available to any one wishing to use them. It also has a Forum on html design. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information in the chat room or in a message at the forum. The Forms at the WhyteHouse do require your name and email but this is not PUBLIC information, and I, the President, do not use your email except to get in touch with your for information that you have requested or to just say thanks for writing :o).
About security on YOUR computer. You should have a firewall installed, yes even if you have a dial up connection that is dynamic, and assigns a different IP address each time you connect to the internet. If You don't believe that you are vulnerable, go to http://grc.com/ and check your shields and have your ports probed! Now after you do that and find out that indeed there are hackers on the web that can and do go into your computer, provided you stay unaware of what is going on and how they access your computer, you may be more inclined to use a firewall. There are a few free firewalls, one is called TinyFireWall and another is called ZoneAlarm. Do a search on http://google.com/, or http://completlyfreesoftware.com, to find a copy to download, then retest your computer at http://grc.com/. They are the best site that I know of for this and will enlighten you quite a bit! I have been probed many times since I installed a firewall, and I use a dial up connection!
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
